Meet Saleem Hayat

About Saleem

Saleem Hayat will be representing Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (GA Chapter) for the upcoming Know Your Neighbor event.

Saleem has a degree in Mathematics from Karachi University in Pakistan. He also has a degree in Computer Information Systems and Associate degrees in Aviation & Auto & Diesel Engineering.

He has been involved in Civic Leadership Training and a Member of the Board for the Good Will Society in Amarillo, TX. He also volunteered in the  Eldershine Senior Citizen Program in Jacksonville FL for 7 years.

About Ahmadiyya Muslim Community - GA Chapter

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMC) are Muslims who believe in the Messiah, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) of Qadian. Mirza Ghulam Ahmad founded the AMC in 1889 as a revival movement within Islam, emphasizing its essential teachings of peace, love, justice, and sanctity of life.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA (est. 1920) is America’s largest Muslim organization under one leader and the leading Islamic organization to categorically reject terrorism. It is the also the only Islamic organization to endorse the separation of mosque and state. Under the leadership of Khilafa, the AMC has built over 16,000 mosques, 600 schools, and 30 hospitals.  It has translated the Holy Quran into over 70 languages. 

The AMC propagates Islam’s true teachings of peace and tolerance through a 24-hour satellite television channel (MTA), the Internet (MuslimsForPeace.org), and print (Islam International Publications). It stands at the forefront of disaster relief in the United States and worldwide through Humanity First, a non-profit charity.
